The Polaroid Book

The Polaroid Book, (2011) Edited by Steve Crist, Essay by Barbara Hitchcock, London: TASCHEN. ISBN: 978-3-8365-0189-7.

This is a book illustrating a pick of Polaroid photographs taken from the Polaroid companies collection that were made by artists for the company. The book includes a short essay on the history of Polaroid and how it came to become accepted and indeed popular with artists.

I purchased this a year ago in a charity book shop that I work part-time in, and looking for ideas for my sixth assignment I used it as reference material and found some examples of artistic ideas that I could use as part of my work. I refer to pages 100, 114, and 129 that are examples of pictures made up from multiple photos.
